Terms & Conditions – Apex Academy

1 Acceptance of These Terms

By enrolling a student at Apex Academy (for offline or online classes), paying fees, or continuing to attend our sessions, you agree to these Terms & Conditions on behalf of yourself and your ward.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not proceed with admission or continued attendance.

2 Programs & Eligibility

Apex Academy currently offers coaching for specific grades and boards as mentioned on our website and communication material. Admission is subject to:

• Availability of seats in the requested batch.
• Student profile, academic background, and fit for the batch level.
• Agreement by parents/students to follow our discipline and attendance norms.

We reserve the right to decline or discontinue admission if behaviour, discipline, or consistent non-compliance disrupts the learning environment for others.

3 Admissions & Fee Structure

Admission is confirmed only after:

• Completion of the admission formalities as guided by our team.
• Payment of registration fee and initial instalment / full fee as applicable.

All fee details (course fee, instalments, due dates) will be shared at the time of admission. Any changes in fee structure for future sessions or batches will be communicated in advance and will not be applied retroactively to already-paid periods.

4 Payments, Refunds & Cancellations

The following applies to all admissions (offline and online):

• Registration Fee: Non-refundable under any circumstances.
• Tuition Fee: Any refund requests, if allowed, will follow the Refund & Cancellation Policy explained separately at the time of admission and on our official documentation.
• Late Payments: Delayed fee payment may lead to late charges and/or temporary suspension of classes until dues are cleared.
• Cancellation by Parent/Student: Discontinuation mid-course does not automatically entitle you to a refund unless explicitly mentioned in writing in the fee agreement.

5 Attendance, Behaviour & Discipline

Students are expected to attend classes regularly and arrive on time (for both offline and online sessions). The following applies:

• Repeated absenteeism without valid reason may affect progress and internal assessments.
• Students must maintain respectful behaviour towards teachers, staff, and fellow students.
• Use of abusive language, disruptive behaviour, or repeated non-cooperation can result in removal from the batch without refund.
• For online classes, students should attend with their full name visible and follow basic etiquette (camera/mic rules as instructed).

6 Study Material & Intellectual Property

All notes, tests, question banks, presentations, and any other learning material shared by Apex Academy are for the personal use of the enrolled student only.

• You may not copy, reproduce, share, resell, or distribute our material in any form without written permission.
• Recording of live classes (audio or video) is strictly not allowed unless explicitly permitted in writing.
• Any misuse or sharing of proprietary content can lead to immediate termination of admission and may invite further action as per applicable laws.

7 Online Classes & Technology Requirements

For online live classes, it is the parent’s/student’s responsibility to:

• Arrange a stable internet connection and a compatible device (laptop/tablet/phone).
• Ensure a quiet and distraction-free environment during class.
• Keep required apps (Zoom/Google Meet or similar) updated and functional.

Apex Academy is not liable for learning loss due to repeated technical issues at the student’s end (poor internet, device problems, etc.).

8 Tests, Assessments & Results

We conduct periodic tests, weekly assessments, and mock exams to track progress. While we take care to design high-quality assessments and share feedback:

• Internal scores are indicative of performance within our system and are not equivalent to board or school marks.
• Student progress also depends on self-study, homework completion, and seriousness outside class hours.
• No coaching institute can guarantee a particular mark, grade, or rank in board or competitive exams.

9 Limitation of Liability

While Apex Academy aims to provide structured, high-quality academic support, we do not guarantee specific academic results or outcomes.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apex Academy, its teachers, and staff shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising out of:

• Student’s exam performance in school, boards, or competitive exams.
• Decisions taken by parents/students based on our guidance or suggestions.
• Technical disruptions, unforeseen holidays, or events beyond our reasonable control.

10 Changes to Batches, Schedule & Faculty

We may, when required, modify:

• Batch timings or days (while attempting to keep changes reasonable).
• Faculty assigned to a batch due to availability, health, or internal scheduling.
• Mode of delivery (offline to online or vice versa) in case of external circumstances.

Such changes will be communicated as early as reasonably possible through our usual communication channels.

11 Updates to These Terms

Apex Academy may revise these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. The updated version will be posted on our website with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Continued enrolment or attendance after such updates will be treated as acceptance of the revised terms.
